In Simferopol began work exhibition “heritage of the Republic. FSB of Russia against “black archaeology”, report “RIA Novosti”. Unique artifacts exhibited in the Central Museum of Tauris.
Crimeans and guests of the Peninsula will be able to see artifacts that were evidence in criminal cases, predominantly associated with illegal archaeological activities.
We are talking about the materials used in investigations of the Crimean Department of the FSB over the past three years, said the head of the FSB Department in Crimea and Sevastopol Viktor Palagin. According to him, the Museum presents exhibits that “nowhere in the world is”.
At the exhibition you can see over 200 archaeological treasures that reflect the history of Asia Minor, the black sea-Mediterranean and Northern black sea region in the Roman period and in the era of the Great migration.
This is the glassware and ceramics – various receptacles, dishes and cups, ornaments of silver and gold pendants, earrings, lockets and “collars”, as well as stone and metal statues and many more.
The Director of the Central Museum of Tauris Andrei Malgin said that similar exhibition will be held in the Crimea. The exhibition will run until August 31.
