Lava Bubbles From Mexico’s Colima Volcano in Dramatic New Eruption

Mexico’s Colima volcano erupted in the early hours of Tuesday, December 27, spitting lava and ash out into the skies over Jalisco and Colima provinces.

A Jalisco state official stated that a column of volcanic ash around 8,000 feet high was emitted during the eruption. The video shows the spectacular explosion on early Tuesday.
